“The bed sheet had stains on them. The tv wouldn’t work. I did let the front desk know and maintenance was supposed to come never did. The check in and out was a breeze tho. We ate at the restaurant. Good was hot and service was good. Casino was small not a lot of games to choose from.”

“Hotel is old, and overpriced for what it offers. Had to wait an hour with a reservation for one of the clerks to go and clean the room before I could go in there. Its an older hotel it could offer breakfast at the least for the price you pay. The staff was courteous and the room was clean. Not many young people so the stay was problem free.”

“Beds were very comfortable! Parking available for a towed trailer. Easy in and out. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Plan to stay there again.”

“This property was under some construction but our stay was very comfortable and quiet. It was close to the downtown historic district. We found a great brewery there. ”

“The property was nice, the A/C in the lobby did not work the whole time. The A/C in our room was low freon, so never got cold and never removed the humidity the first night. However, when we returned the next evening, the A/C had been replaced and the room felt wonderful. The side chair needed to be in the dump, very dingy and stained, but the desk chair was comfortable as was the bed. Everything was clean and the staff were very kind, helpful and friendly.”

“We booked this place as a halfway point on our road trip. The online reviews and pictures are VERY deceiving. This was the grossest hotel I’ve ever been to. Trash left behind in the rooms, dirty floors in the hallways, trash in the elevators, CIGARETTE BURNS in our sheets. We got woken up by the smell of weed at 2 am. Items left behind in the room from other guests… i.e. an elf bar, trash, and some hair gel. Would not recommend if this was the last place to stay on planet earth.”

“Great characterful stay”

“Room was clean and bed comfortable. Staff efficient. Didn't try the breakfast with A Crackerbarrel next door. Undergoing renovation. Not a major problem but the ceiling above shower had been repaired, but not repainted.”

“Room was very clean but had a funny smell. Parking was easy and location was great to walk downtown. Pool area was locked so we didn’t explore it. There’s plenty of green space outside hotel for dogs and quiet walking streets. Guests ring a bell for staff and they are very friendly.”

“It was not very clean. They used to provide a better breakfast, with scrambled eggs/ sausage/bacon.”
